SELNEC PRESERVATION SOCIETY'S VEHICLES ENTERED INTO THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ROAD TRANSPORT MUSEUMS DATABASE (NARTM)

We have been researching specific information on all our preserved vehicles in terms of their body numbers, chassis numbers etc. as well as subsequent operators for those that were sold for further service by SELNEC/GMT.

In this regard, all 30 vehicles are now on the NARTM (National Association of Road Transport Museums) database. However, in Spring 2000 NARTM, in conjunction with Ian Allan, published a book listing all vehicles on their database at that time - Buses Restored 2000, which contained the vehicles we owned at that time, which excluded 105, 7232, 8765 and 1451, but these are included in the reprint Buses Restored 2001.

This is very similar to the PSV Circle's Preserved Buses 1999 2JP100, which lists all our preserved vehicles, except those most recently obtained, being 408, 6901, 6990, 1321, 1733, 5001, 105, 7232, 8765 and 1451. We have sent information to the PSV Circle regarding these vehicles so, hopefully, these additional vehicles can be included in the next edition.

Click on the image below for the database information on our vehicles as it appears in the NARTM database.
